Yellowstone Landscape provides professional, highly qualified and experienced Commercial Landscape Management Services. While utilizing our extensive large company qualifications and capabilities, we still offer small company approaches to provide multi-layered management to all projects.
We are seeking an experienced and professional Project Manager for our growing Sports Fields Branch located in Manassas, VA. The Project Manager serves as the vital link between Yellowstone's high-profile clientele and the Company in ensuring that client expectations regarding quality and service for sports fields maintenance and construction projects are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling, and implementing the tasks of multiple field crews for sports fields construction and irrigation. These activities must result in compliance with contract specifications, budgets, and client expectations.
- Interacting on a regular basis with assigned Yellowstone clientele and general contractors, through flawless verbal and written communications.
- Perform continuous quality control monitoring and maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all issues and solutions.
- Responsible for field safety training and daily oversight to assure that every crew member is working safely.
- Direct management of employees.
- Field observation of work being performed and quality control of crews in the field.
Requirements
- A landscape and/or sports fields construction professional with the ability to be highly functional in a team environment, as well as able to perform with minimum supervision and direction.
- Two to three years of experience with a commercial landscape and/or sports fields construction firm leading multiple crews required.
- Exceptional client-service skills and a keen sense of ownership of responsibilities.
- Superb communication skills - both written and verbal; knowledge of Spanish is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but may be substituted with strong green industry, sports fields and/or landscape construction experience.
Compensation
- Yellowstone Landscape offers an aggressive incentive program and a full group benefit plan including medical, dental, 401K, PTO and company vehicle, or vehicle allowance.
